Dear Reader
Right when I heard that we were able to choose our topic, I knew I was going to do something on the current situation in Central Africa. I remembered hearing about Invisible Children last school year, and it touched me. This semester we also read a book called A Long Way Gone, which is a similar situation as the current situation in Central Africa. After these two encounters I remember wondering why I hadn't heard about the current situation in Africa before. This made me want to research the topic so that I could inform myself more about the unrest in Central Africa.
While researching I kept on reading about the LRA and their crimes against humanity, and thats when I decided what my research question would be: "How does the Lords of Resistance(LRA) affect the people of Central Africa?" I hope to spread awareness of this crisis with this research topic.
